Hoses Unlimited LLC warrants its products to be free of any defects in workmanship or materials under what is considered to be normal service for 12 months from the date of shipment from our Milwaukee facility or any Hansa-Flex location (or in the case of field service, from the date of field installation. 

 

All obligations and liabilities are limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part at our option.  Hoses Unlimited accepts no liability for consequential damage or reinstallation labor. 

 

Any hose assemblies, adaptors, accessories or components furnished by Hansa-Flex shall be subject to the manufacturer’s particular warranty.   

 

Hoses Unlimited LLC reserves the right to revise or improve any products with no obligation to incorporate these changes in any products manufactured prior to such revisions or improvements.  The company will not assume responsibility for contingent liability through alleged failure or failure of any of its products or accessories. 

 

This 12-month warranty does not apply to failures, which result from:

• Misapplication 

• Excessive Temperatures (high or low exceeding hose ratings) 

• Inner-Tube Erosion 

• Hose Abrasion 

• Dry Air / Aged air 

• Bent Hoses/Exceeding minimum bend radius.  

• External damage to hose carcass 

• Kinking at or near the fitting 

• Fluid Incompatibility with tube or cover or environment. 

• Fluid contamination 

• Surging/Spiking or excessive working pressure or pressure in the range of the minimum burst rating for the hose 

• Defective hose 

• Improperly installed or clamped. 

• Incorrect hose length  

• Twisted or compromised hose from installation or service. 

• Failure due to corrosion or damage from storage in corrosive atmospheric conditions 

• Shipping Damage 

 

To obtain warranty approval, the customer must first obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number from Hoses Unlimited LLC through whom the product was originally purchased.   

 

All units must be held for inspection by a production facility at the discretion of the Hoses Unlimited Service Department for evaluation (See the Warranty Return Policy for further details).  

 

Unauthorized Field Service

If a buyer secures unauthorized field service on a product or its accessory, the buyer shall be responsible for all time and expenses incurred therein.  This includes charges for freight, labor and service, together with any other expenses incurred.

Standard Product Warranty

Hoses Unlimited products are warrantied for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment to customers. 

 

Warranty Claim Authorization  

​

To be considered for warranty repair or credit, all units must be held for inspection at the discretion of the Service Department for warranty evaluation. 

 

To obtain warranty approval, the customer must first contact Hoses Unlimited, from where the product was originally purchased, to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.  The RGA number will be valid for 14 days only.  

 

Shipping Instructions

Prior to shipment, returned assemblies must be drained of all fluids.  Failure to do so will result in a clean-up charge billed at $125 per hour.  Returned products are to be shipped prepaid with a RGA clearly marked on the outside of package.  Units received at Hoses Unlimited shipped freight collect or without a RGA number will be refused and returned to the shipper at their expense.

Inspection 

​

If hose assembly, adaptor or accessories are found to have a defect in materials and/or workmanship upon inspection, Hoses Unlimited will repair or replace the unit at their discretion.  A credit for the incoming shipping charges (excluding air freight charges) can be issued at the customer’s request.  Hoses Unlimited will require a copy of the shipping invoice in order to issue credit.  

 

If a hose assembly, adaptor, or accessory has been misapplied or is beyond the warranty period, the customer will be notified and the products will be returned, shipped freight collect or disposed of locally at the discretion of the customer.
